Catoctin Creek – Roundstone Rye Distillers' Edition 92 PF (75cl, 46%)

Roundstone Rye 92 PF is the Distillers' Edition of Catoctin Creek's Roundstone Rye. It is a single barrel whisky distilled from 100% rye, never chill filtered, in a 750ml bottle at 92 proof (46%). Only one barrel in every ten is chosen for this bottling. The distillery had been putting whisky away in storage for a few years, and it pulled some of the more interesting barrels from the back of the barn to release at a higher proof than the 80 PF Roundstone Rye. The aim was a whisky chosen for flavour that stays smooth.
