Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye Distillers Edition (Blue) (75cl)

This is a cask strength rye whiskey from Catoctin Creek Distilling Company in Virginia, distilled on site and released as limited single barrel bottlings in a 750ml bottle. It is made from rye grain and aged for under two years. The nose combines rye spice, bright lemon and fresh distillate. On the palate come lemon zest, anise, vanilla extract and lively grain heat. The finish is clean and refreshing, with summer fruits, white peppercorn and lingering rye spice.
