Cave de Cairanne Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge

A Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge from Cave de Cairanne, expressing the terroir of the Rhône Valley. Made mainly from Grenache, it shows intense aromatic complexity. The nose brings ripe red fruits, black pepper and aromatic herbs such as thyme. On the palate it balances power and elegance, with robust but harmonious structure, well-integrated tannins and persistent freshness. The finish is long and aromatically rich, leaving notes of liquorice and dark chocolate. It suits flavourful dishes such as meat stews, game and aged cheeses, and can evolve in the cellar for more than a decade under optimal conditions.
