A Lambrusco di Modena DOC from Cavicchioli, fresh and immediate in character. It shows a lively ruby colour with fine bubbles. The nose offers small red fruits, floral hints and delicate spice, kept clean and linear. The palate is dry and easy-going, supported by good acidity, with fruity returns and a dry finish that invites another sip. It suits cured meats, simple tomato-based first courses, fresh cheeses, or an aperitif, and is best served cool at around 10-12 C in wide but not oversized glasses. It is a wine to drink young for its freshness.
