The Walking Fool is a red blend from Suisun Valley, just east of Napa, made by the Wagner family who founded Caymus Vineyards. The name honours a free-spirited family ancestor known for his adventurous nature.
On the nose it shows dark cherry, blackberry and ripe plum, with vanilla bean, mocha, baking spice and a touch of toasted oak. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, with juicy black fruit, cocoa and subtle tobacco, supported by velvety tannins. The finish is long.
