Cazcanes No.7 Blanco Tequila (75cl, 40%)

Cazcanes No.7 is a blanco tequila made from Tequilana Weber blue agave grown in the Tequila Valley in Jalisco, and bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It is distilled at NOM 1599. The agave is cooked at low pressure in an autoclave, and the juice is extracted with a roller mill and combined with natural spring water. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using only agave sugars, and the spirit is distilled twice in stainless steel pots. It is aerated for smoothness and is additive free. The aroma is earthy agave with floral and lightly spiced notes. The palate shows sweet cooked agave with citrus and pepper.
