Cazcanes No.9 Blanco Tequila (75cl, 50%)

This is a blanco tequila from Cazcanes, made from Weber Blue agave grown in the Tequila Valley in Jalisco and bottled at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The agave is cooked at low pressure in an autoclave, then milled, and the juice is combined with natural spring water. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using only agave sugars, and the tequila is distilled twice in stainless steel pots. It is aerated and additive free. The nose is fresh agave with subtle floral and herbal notes. The palate shows agave with hints of citrus and earthy undertones.
