Chairman's Reserve The Forgotten Casks is a dark rum inspired by casks left to age in unusual places after the 2007 fire at the St. Lucia distillery. It is aged between 6 and 11 years in selected American oak barrels.
The rum has an intense amber colour with bright golden reflections. The nose shows vibrant notes of honey, caramelised fruit, vanilla and spice, while the palate brings nutmeg, dark chocolate, tobacco and a persistent molasses sweetness.
It finishes long and harmonious, and is best sipped neat or with a cube of ice.
