This is a 28 year old single malt from Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, bottled by Chapter 7 as part of its Monologue range of single casks. It was distilled in July 1994 and bottled in October 2022 from a single bourbon hogshead, at 52% with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The release was limited to 253 bottles, each of 70cl.
The nose has fresh half-baked baguette, ale, muesli, wet rocks and flower honey. On the palate come natural barley sweetness, apple juice, honey, Turkish delight and caramelised condensed milk. The finish is peppery and waxy, with citrus rinds and dried herbs.
