Chapter 7 Whisky Prologue Blended Malt Batch 1 (70cl, 49%)

This is Prologue Batch 1, a blended malt from Chapter 7 Whisky. It is bottled at 49% in a 70cl bottle, and 6,000 bottles were released, the largest run Chapter 7 has produced. The blend is made from younger single malts chosen at the point where their Highland and Speyside character is developing. The nose is floral, with light barley, honeyed stewed apples and fresh baguette. Sweet, fruity and earthy notes with baking spices shape the palate, and the finish is sugary with hints of cereals, white pepper and almonds.
