This is a 17 year old Armagnac from Château de Lacquy, in a 70cl bottle. The estate describes itself as the oldest family owned Armagnac producer and has been distilling by hand since 1711.
Its vines grow in light, tawny, marine sand with clay and shell sediments. The spirit is aged in French oak and has no added colouring, sugar or caramel. The Armagnacs of the house are known for elegance, finesse, roundness, length and aromatic complexity.
