Château Grand Corbin 2018 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé

Château Grand Corbin 2018 is a red Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé from the northern part of the appellation, where the vineyards border Pomerol. The estate's roots go back to the Middle Ages. The blend is 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, from vineyards of clay, sand and gravel. Each parcel is vinified separately, and the wine spent 12 months in French oak, 40% of it new. It is deep ruby, with ripe blackcurrant, black cherry and plum alongside cedar, vanilla, cocoa, violet and fine spice. The palate is full and concentrated, with silky tannins, mineral freshness and a long, elegant finish.
