Château Grillon Sauternes (37.5cl)

A Sauternes with a bright golden colour and a generous bouquet of acacia honey, syrupy apricot and candied orange peel, with a subtle presence of botrytis adding richness. Light notes of ginger and toasted almond also appear. The palate is soft but vibrant, supported by lively acidity and a savoury note that extends the finish. It is rich but not cloying, with a clean, citrus finish. It pairs with foie gras, blue cheeses, creamy desserts, nut tarts and fruit tarts. Serve cool, around 8-10 °C. The 375 ml bottle suits two.
