The second wine of Château Gruaud Larose, a historic Second Cru Classé estate in the southern part of Saint-Julien, whose vineyards sit on the top of the plateau with mostly south-facing exposure. The vines are over 45 years old, the oldest more than 80. The estate has been farmed biodynamically since 2019.
This second wine comes from younger vines in the vineyards, yet shows impressive concentration and complexity, with fine freshness and elegance.
