Chattanooga Whiskey Bottled in Bond Bourbon (75cl, 50%)

This is a vintage-dated Tennessee bourbon from Chattanooga Whiskey, bottled in bond at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 75cl bottle. That means it was made in a single distilling season and aged at least four years in a bonded warehouse. The distillery follows what it calls a Tennessee High Malt approach, with each mashbill containing at least 25% specialty malted grains such as caramel malt and honey malt barley. The nose has wildflower honey, spiced fruit, vanilla, brown sugar and a hint of pear. The palate brings honey, peanut brittle, caramel, pecan pie and chocolate malt. The finish is medium-long, with butterscotch, toasted oak and a little coffee.
