Chianti Biskero Salcheto 2024

A Chianti made from Sangiovese (85%) with equal parts Canaiolo Nero, Mammolo and Merlot, grown organically and biodynamically in vineyards near Chiusi, Torrita di Siena and Abbadia di Montepulciano. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks, with ageing for four months: 70% in steel tanks and the rest in 300 l American oak barrels. After bottling, the wine matures for a further three months in the cellar. It is bright red and brilliant, with immediate, fruit-rich aromas of raspberry and cherry. The palate is fresh and crisp with red fruit tones, good structure and fleshiness, and a lightly spicy finish.
