A Chianti Classico DOCG from Melini, made from Sangiovese.
It is aged in oak barrels, giving light spice and wood notes alongside cherry, berry and violet aromas. The wine has an intense ruby colour with garnet hints.
On the palate it is balanced and harmonious, with soft, well-integrated tannins and lively acidity. Red fruit flavours combine with spicy and balsamic notes, leading to a persistent, savoury finish.
