Chianti DOCG Borghi D'Elsa (1.5L)

A Chianti DOCG from Melini, in magnum format. It shows a Mediterranean profile with mature but crunchy red fruits, a light floral note and a hint of dry herb. The palate is balanced, with vibrant freshness and fine tannins that support without weighing it down; the body is medium, the savouriness well calibrated and the persistence pleasant. The magnum format helps slow evolution and gives a rounding sensation that enhances the fruity tones and softness of the finish. It is excellent with Tuscan dishes such as roasts, simple game preparations, aged cheeses and ragù pasta, but also suits more informal drinking among friends. Serve slightly cool to appreciate its dynamism and depth without losing freshness.
