The palate is linear and well proportioned, with sustained freshness, sapidity that aids drinkability, and present but gentle tannins. The finish is pleasant and the overall profile remains essential and sincere. It pairs naturally with everyday Italian cooking such as tomato pasta, ragu, roasts and medium-aged cheeses. Serve slightly cool; a brief aeration opens the aromas in the first glasses.
