Chianti DOCG Riserva - Melini

A Chianti Riserva from Melini with a recognisable, authentic profile. The glass shows mature red fruits such as cherry and plum, with light herbaceous notes and a hint of spice. The palate combines tension and fullness, with fresh acidity supporting the drink and well-calibrated tannins that give structure without being intrusive; the finish is pleasant, balanced and savoury. It suits dishes with character: meat ragù, savoury roasts, medium-aged cheeses and mushroom-based preparations. Serve around 16-18 °C. It can be enjoyed young for its freshness or kept for a few years for greater roundness.
