Chichibu On The Way 2024 Floor Malted is a Japanese single malt from the Chichibu distillery, which was founded in 2008. It is made from 100% hand-malted barley and bottled at 54.5% in a 70cl bottle, without added colour and without chill-filtration.
The 2024 edition is drawn from whiskies matured for between 9 and 15 years in a range of casks: bourbon barrels, sherry puncheons, Mizunara hogsheads, wine casks and Chibidaru casks.
The mix of casks brings fruity, spicy and woody notes.
