Chicken Cock Bourbon Whiskey is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 45% in a 75cl bottle. It is distilled, aged and bottled in Kentucky under master distiller Gregg Snyder.
The mashbill is 70% corn, 21% rye and 9% malted barley, and the whiskey spends a minimum of four years in new charred American oak. The Famous Old Brand name dates to 1856 and was revived in 2012.
Tasting notes describe sweet vanilla, caramel and toasted oak with baking spice on the nose, butterscotch, light fruit and charred oak on the palate, and a long, warm, gently sweet finish.
