Chicken Cock Island Rooster Rum Barrel Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey finished in Caribbean rum casks. Twenty-five barrels of the brand's Signature Kentucky Straight Rye went into the finish. The name draws on the Caribbean, where roosters announce the coming day. The result combines spicy notes from the rye with candied molasses from the rum barrels, in a relaxed style.
