Chicken Cock Kentucky Straight Bourbon is distilled, aged and bottled in Kentucky, and comes in a replica of the Prohibition-era Chicken Cock bottle. It is bottled at 90 proof, which gives a slight bourbon warmth.
The colour is a deep mahogany. The nose balances oak with dried fruit, caramel and vanilla, and the palate opens with soft tannins.
The mouthfeel is creamy, almost buttery, with notes of butterscotch and toasted oak, and the finish is vanilla.
