A Kentucky straight rye from Chicken Cock, in a 750ml bottle, made in collaboration with Goodwood Brewing in Louisville. The rye is aged for a minimum of four years, then finished in Blonde Ale barrels. It is bottled at 100 proof.
The nose brings vanilla wafer, lemon peel, herbal tea and oak. On the palate are crisp apple, sweet malt, delicate pepper and honey. The finish is gentle and malty, with honeycomb, lemongrass, pear and toasted oak.
