Chicken Cock Wheated Kentucky Straight Bourbon is the first wheated mash bill in the brand's 168-year history. It replaces the familiar rye-forward structure with a softer, rounder style, and is bottled at 47% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The mash is 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley, matured for at least five years in level-four charred barrels.
Cordial cherry, cream soda and caramel shape a velvety palate. The warm, oak-framed finish brings baked dough, brown sugar, dried fruit and gentle baking spice.
