Chief's Son 900 Pure Malt (70cl, 45%)

Chief's Son 900 Pure Malt is an Australian malt whisky bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It uses darker specialty malt in place of peat, and is distilled from fresh whisky wash only, without fores and feints. The whisky is distilled just twice a year and matured in ex-fortified French oak barrels. The nose brings baked stone fruits, scorched sugar almonds and caramelised pears. The palate is concentrated malt with toffee and a balanced sweetness. The finish is medium, with creamy malt, a little sherry and smooth oak.
