This is Chivas Regal 12 year old, a blended Scotch whisky from the early 1980s. It is bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle and comes boxed. Aged Speyside malts, including Strathisla, sit at the heart of the blend. The name comes from James Chivas, who took over a grocery and spirit shop in Aberdeen in 1838. The first Chivas Regal was a 25 year old, made with a higher malt content and aimed at American drinkers.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
