Chivas Regal 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky in a 375ml bottle, bottled at 40%. Every whisky in the blend is aged for at least twelve years before blending.
Its malt heart comes from Strathisla in Keith, Speyside, where fermentation takes place in wooden washbacks. Malts from Longmorn, The Glenlivet, Allt-a-Bhainne, Miltonduff and Braes of Glenlivet are added, along with grain whisky from Strathclyde.
The nose offers heather, herbs and ripe apple over honey. The palate is light and sweet, with honeyed malt, vanilla, toffee and hazelnut, and the finish is medium, dry and fruity with heather honey.
