Chivas Regal 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky from Chivas Brothers, made from malt and grain whiskies that have each been aged for at least 12 years. It comes in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV.
Strathisla single malt, from the Highland distillery that has supplied Chivas since 1786, forms the core of the blend. Sherry cask maturation brings a dried fruit character, balanced by the lighter grain whisky.
The nose offers honey, vanilla, apple and hazelnut. On the palate come ripe pear, vanilla and dried fruit with light oak, and the finish is long and creamy.
