Chivas Regal 12 Year is a blended Scotch whisky with a twelve-year age statement, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It is anchored by single malt from Strathisla and draws on other Speyside malts, including Longmorn, The Glenlivet, Allt-a-Bhainne, Miltonduff and Braes of Glenlivet, together with grain whisky from Strathclyde. Each component spends at least twelve years in a variety of oak casks before blending.
Heather, honey and orchard fruit mark the nose. The palate is creamy, with honey, vanilla, butterscotch and ripe pear, then hazelnut and gentle spice. The finish is warm, with vanilla toffee and a trace of orchard fruit.
