Chivas Regal 18 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40%. It is made from more than 20 single malts, each matured for at least 18 years, together with grain whiskies.
The malts include Strathisla, Longmorn, The Glenlivet, Allt-a-Bhainne, Braeval and Miltonduff. The expression was first launched in 1997 and repackaged in 2004 with Master Blender Colin Scott's gold signature on the bottle.
The nose offers dried fruit, buttery toffee, dark chocolate and orange peel. The palate is silky, with orange marmalade, caramel, roasted nuts and cinnamon spice. The finish is long and warm, with building oak spice.
