Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Gold Signature is a blended Scotch whisky assembled by Master Blender Colin Scott from more than 20 single malts and grain whiskies, each aged for at least 18 years. Strathisla, Scotland's oldest continuously operating distillery, anchors the blend with a warm, honeyed character. It is bottled at 40%.
The nose has dried fruits, buttery toffee, dark chocolate, orange peel and vanilla fudge. The palate is velvety, with dark chocolate, marmalade, creamy caramel and spiced orange, plus a mild, sweet smokiness from the Islay malts in the blend. Honey, oak and bittersweet chocolate run through a long, warm finish.
