Chivas Regal Crystalgold (70cl, 40%)

Chivas Regal Crystalgold is a colourless spirit drink made by Chivas Brothers in Scotland. It starts as a Scotch blend matured in oak, then passes through a special filtration that removes the colour while keeping its flavour and depth. It is bottled at 40% vol in a 70cl bottle. It is made with mixed drinks in mind, such as a highball or a Clear Old Fashioned, and can also be taken neat or over ice. The nose offers vanilla, toffee and apple pie, with butterscotch fudge and a touch of orange zest. Red apples and juicy pears come through on the palate with cinnamon and ginger. The finish is long and velvety, with a little pepper.
