A 13-year-old blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV, released in the US in autumn 2019 as the first 13-year-old Chivas made for the American market.
The age is a tribute to the 13 Premier League titles Manchester United won under Sir Alex Ferguson. Chivas was the club's Official Global Spirits Partner at the launch, and the bottle carries club colours and Ferguson's signature in gold script. Portions of the blend were finished in American rye casks, which bring out sweet vanilla notes.
The launch notes describe a smooth, mellow whisky with sweet, juicy orange, creamy milk chocolate and a light dusting of cinnamon.
