Chivas Regal Mizunara is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first Scotch whisky to have been matured in casks made from Japanese Mizunara oak.
Mizunara is a softer oak than most and is known for notes such as coconut and cedarwood.
The nose is rich and fruity, with pear and orange. The palate is mild and rich, with sweet honey and a little hazelnut, and the long finish carries the coconut spice typical of Mizunara.
