Chivas Regal Mizunara Special Edition (75cl, 40%)

This is Chivas Regal Mizunara, a special edition blended Scotch whisky from Chivas Brothers, in a 75cl bottle at 40%. It was first released in October 2014 for the Japanese market and later sold more widely. It was the first Scotch whisky to be selectively finished in Japanese mizunara oak casks. Custodian Master Blender Colin Scott created it after a research trip to Japan, and his signature appears on the bottle. The blend is made from malt and grain whiskies all aged at least 12 years, with part of it finished in mizunara casks. Sandy Hyslop now oversees production.
