Royal Salute 21 Year Old The Peated Blend is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is the new version of the former Lost Blend.
It is composed of whiskies from distilleries that no longer produce, including Caperdonich and Dumbarton, and is said to have whisky from the Imperial distillery at its heart.
The nose opens with bergamot, crème brûlée and banana milkshake, then ginger, apple, incense and charred pineapple. The palate brings campfire, toffee, juicy pear, oak, gingerbread and vanilla. The finish has lemon, orange, tropical fruits and long-lasting aromatic peat.
