Chivas Regal 16 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky made in collaboration with Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc and released as a limited edition. It takes its inspiration from his racing number, 16, and his personal taste.
The blend combines malt and grain whiskies matured for at least 16 years, with Speyside character, particularly Longmorn malt, and a mix of cask types that includes sherry-seasoned oak. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
The nose offers honey, mandarin and dried fruit with vanilla. The palate shows orange marmalade, baked apple and toffee, and the finish is warming, with caramel, spice and light nuttiness.
