A 23 year old blended whisky from Royal Salute, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. This is the Ching-Wei Liu Design Edition.
The nose combines sweet pears and citrus fruits with summer flowers, sweet vanilla and dry oak, with subtle sherry and smoke. On the palate come sweet orange marmalade and fresh pears, followed by spices and hazelnuts, and a warmth with hints of smoke. The finish is long, sweet and fruity.
