Royal Salute Eternal Reserve is a numbered blended Scotch whisky made from the contents of 88 casks, with the whisky aged for at least 21 years. It was blended using a method called Circular Blending, which is much like the Iberian solera system of ageing.
The bottle carries a number and the signature of master blender Colin Scott.
The taste is complex, with honey, beeswax, soft vanilla, orange peel and a delicate liquorice sweetness. The finish is notably long.
