Christian Drouin Poiré (75cl)

Poiré is a traditional Normandy drink made from several pear varieties typical of the area. This one from Christian Drouin is bottled while fermentation is still under way. It carries on in the glass bottle, which creates the natural sparkle. Golden-yellow in colour, it has delicate pear and citrus on the nose. The palate is fresh and fruity and pleasantly dry. Light and refreshing, it suits an aperitif, savoury tarts or traditional buckwheat galettes.
