A red Vermouth di Torino from Cinzano, made in small batches and matured in small oak casks. It follows a traditional Turin recipe, and the colour is deep amber with ruby reflections.
The nose combines aromatic herbs and sweet spice with red orange, cinnamon, clove and vanilla, alongside bitter roots, balsamic herbs and a light touch of wood.
On the palate it is balanced and round, with measured sweetness giving way to a lasting bitterness. It works served neat over ice or as the base of a cocktail.
