Citadelle Jardin d'Été is a summery, citrus-led gin from Charente in France. Cantaloupe melon, yuzu and lemon sit alongside 19 other botanicals, giving a gin that is intense and complex yet balanced.
The nose is large and open, with melon, lemon zest, yuzu and juniper. On the palate it is crisp and fresh with a light sweetness, bringing mandarin, almond, a hint of nutmeg and plenty of citrus. It is suggested one part gin to two parts tonic, with a twist of lemon peel.
