Cladach 2018 Cask Strength Special Release (70cl, 57.1%)

Cladach is a blended malt Scotch whisky made from Diageo's coastal distilleries: Inchgower, Clynelish, Talisker, Oban, Caol Ila and Lagavulin. The name means 'coastline'. This 2018 Special Release is bottled at a cask strength of 57.1% in a 70cl bottle. The blend draws on first-fill American oak ex-bourbon casks, refill American oak hogsheads, refill European oak butts and ex-bodega European oak butts. The nose opens with gentle savoury smoke, seaweed and petrichor, followed by citrus, vanilla and caramel. The palate is smokier, with darker fruits and liquorice.
