Clan MacGregor Blended Scotch Whisky 1.75L (175cl, 40%)

This is a blended Scotch whisky from Clan MacGregor, made by William Grant & Sons and bottled at 40% ABV in a 1.75 litre handle-sized bottle. The blend draws on fifteen malt and grain whiskies from the Highlands, the Lowlands and Speyside, with single malt from Kininvie distillery at its core. All of it has been aged for at least thirty-six months before blending. The nose is sweet, with vanilla, soft malt and a faint wisp of smoke. On the palate there is baked apple, biscuity malt, butterscotch and a thread of dry smoke. The finish is long and clean, with light grainy warmth.
