Clase Azul Spirit of Champions Limited Edition Tequila Joven (1L, 40%)

This is a limited edition joven tequila from Clase Azul, released to honour the spirit of unity and triumph around a major sporting event co-hosted by Mexico. It was blended by master distiller Viridiana Tinoco and bottled at 40% in a 1 litre decanter, with 10,000 units made. Most of the blend is tequila aged for 28 months in French oak vats from the Forest of Tronçais, with a small amount of specially crafted unaged tequila added. The fine grain and light toast of the vats let the spirit develop slowly. The ceramic decanter is satin white with golden ribbons and a green malachite inlay on the emblem. It is deep gold in colour and full in body, with cooked agave, coconut and toasted wood on the nose. The palate adds walnut and almond, leading to a long, sweet and spiced finish of cinnamon.
