This is a single cask Benrinnes from Speyside, bottled by Claxton's in its Warehouse No.8 range. The whisky was distilled in 2015, matured for seven years in an oloroso octave and bottled in 2022 at a cask strength of 58.8%. Only 58 bottles were filled, and it is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose is apple cider, pine, cloves and winter spices. On the palate come sweet oak, rich barley and candy flavours, and the finish brings barley sugar sweets with a sharp edge of oak in the aftertaste.
