An agricole rum from Martinique, made from fresh sugar cane and distilled in a copper still, then aged for 12 months in wooden casks.
It has an amber colour and a vibrant bouquet of dried fruit, especially apricot and raisin, with caramel, vanilla and a light toasted wood note. The palate is soft but structured, balancing sweetness with a light tannic astringency. The finish is persistent, with echoes of spice and leather. It can be enjoyed neat or used as a base for gastronomic cocktails.
