This is a single pot still Irish whiskey bottled at 46% vol. It is made from 100% Cork-grown barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills at Clonakilty Distillery, which opened in 2019, and matured in the distillery's Atlantic Ocean Warehouse.
Maturation took place in ex-bourbon and Amontillado casks.
The nose combines vanilla sweetness with demerara sugar, citrus peel and kiwi. On the palate vanilla, caramelised pear and apple give way to gentle wood spice, dark chocolate and orange.
